Dave A.R. Dullum

General Partner
Dave has more than 25 years of professional investment management experience.
Prior to joining New England Partners, he was a Managing General Partner of the
Chicago-based private equity firm Frontenac Company. During his 15-year tenure at
Frontenac, he was instrumental in increasing funds under management from $3 Million
to over $250 Million. Dave serves as a principal in various NEP managed investment
funds and as a Director of several NEP portfolio companies. While at Frontenac, he
was actively involved in a number of portfolio companies including Platinum
Technology, Steris Corporation, Devry Incorporated, NBI, Cadnetix, Hutchinson
Technology, American Healthcorp, Genderm, Anatel Incorporated, Intelligent Systems,
Newtrend, and Duffy Broadcasting. He has lectured extensively on venture capital at
the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and is a
member of the Board of Trustees of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust.
Dave holds a B.M.E. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the
Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Robert J. Hanks

Managing General Partner
Bob has 30 years experience in venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and in
general and financial management. He has operating experience in the U.S., Latin
America, and the Far East. In 1992, Bob co-founded New England Partners and serves
as a principal in the various NEP managed investment funds. He also serves as a
Director of several portfolio companies. Prior to founding NEP, he was President of
Vista Investment Company, a private equity investment firm established by The Vista
Group to invest in middle market companies. Over a 20-year period with Conrac
Corporation and GTE Corporation, Bob served in various senior positions including
Vice President and Group Officer, Chief Financial Officer, GTE Brazil, Vice
President, GTE Communications Products and President, GTE Asia Pacific. Bob holds a
B.S. in Economics from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and an M.B.A. in
International Finance from Syracuse University School of Management.

John F. Rousseau, Jr.

Managing General Partner
John has over 30 years of experience in investment management, corporate operations
and legal practice. He co-founded New England Partners in 1992 and serves as a
principal of various NEP managed investment funds. He currently serves as a
Director of several portfolio companies. John has held the operating positions of
Senior Vice President, Homart Development (Sears), Senior Vice President, Spaulding
& Slye Company and Chief Executive Officer, Associated Project Control. Prior to
beginning his business career, he practiced law for fifteen years, specializing in
tax, development and financing transactions with firms in New York, Geneva and in
Boston where he was a Senior Partner with the law firm of Hale & Dorr. John holds a
B.A. from Amherst College and an L.L.B. from Columbia Law School.

Ed Snape

General Partner
Over the past 30 years, Ed has been involved in the formation and management of
numerous private equity firms with over $375 million under management, including
The Vista Group, Cygnus Ventures (UK) and Orien Ventures, as well as several
technology companies, including MPD Technology Corporation, The Liposome Company,
Plant Genetics, Immunogen, and Vim Rx Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining New England
Partners, Ed served as Managing General Partner of The Vista Group, Chairman of
Orien Ventures, a private equity firm with Pacific Rim affiliations, and as a
Director of the Cygnus Funds, two U.K.-based private equity firms focused on
European investments. He also has served on the Boards of numerous successful
technology and middle market companies including Emulex Corporation, The Liposome
Company and Hilex Poly. He has pioneered a number of technological innovations and
authored numerous technical papers on advanced materials. He holds several patents
in his field. Ed holds BS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Leeds, England.

Christopher R. Young

General Partner
Prior to joining New England Partners, Chris was with NationsBanc Capital Markets,
Inc. (a subsidiary of NationsBank Corporation and now BancAmerica Securities) in its
Investment Banking Division. As a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group,
his responsibilities were in the areas of management and leveraged buyouts,
acquisitions, fairness opinions, valuation analysis and corporate sales. Prior to
NationsBanc Capital Markets, Chris worked for a leveraged buyout fund in Boston and
was a high school lacrosse coach. While at NEP, Chris concentrates on the
technology investments, due diligence, and developing new business and investment
opportunities. Chris graduated with Honors from Babson College with a B.S. degree
in Finance.

Todd A. Fitzpatrick

Principal
Todd joined New England Partners in 1998. At NEP, he concentrates on investments within
the consumer and industrial space. Todd has significant experience structuring and managing
leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, and has been involved in several successful
turnaround situations. He has broad based experience in a variety of industries,
including home décor, specialty materials/metals, lighting, pet products, and snack/food.
Todd holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College, and M.B.A. and M.S.A. degrees from Northeastern University.

Thomas E. Hancock

Principal
Prior to joining New England Partners, Tom was a Senior Analyst and Managing Director
at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, responsible for covering biopharmaceuticals and drug
discovery tools. Previously, Tom was a biotech analyst at NationsBanc Montgomery;
was one of the early management employees at COR Therapeutics, Inc.; and was in
laboratory research and business development at Genentech, Inc. Tom holds a BS,
Molecular Biology and an MBA, both from UC Berkeley.

Gillian F. Sherrington

Sr. Associate
Gill began her business career with National Westminster Bank in London. Over a
period of 20 years with the bank, she assumed increasing levels of responsibility in
various administrative, lending and management positions. In her last position with
National Westminster, she managed the operations of two branch offices. Gill
performs due diligence and oversees the administrative operations of the firm.
Gill has a U.S. equivalent B.S. in Business Administration from Farnborough College
of Technology, England.

Julie F. Paltauf
Associate
Julie began her business career with one of the largest, family-owned dry
cleaning companies in Connecticut. She managed the day-to-day operations of
this business. Her responsibilities included environmental analysis,
inventory control as well as managing 20 full time employees for over 14
years. She is currently involved in conducting research for NEP as well as
performing due diligence. Julie graduated with Honors from Fairfield
University with a B.S. in Marketing.
